The exhibition is about 100 works of the most influential school of Japanese graphic art of the 19th century – the school of Utahava. Her representatives are known for works in the genre of some-e-pictures of the actors of the kabuki theater. The actors enjoyed tremendous popularity among the townspeople, which contributed to the development of artistic direction.
